What is the procedure for configuring the Arlo Smart Cloud Activity Zones?

Arlo Smart has a feature called Cloud Activity Zones. They enable you to set up activity zones on Arlo wire-free cameras that aren't powered. A connection to a power source is required for regular activity zones.

When motion is detected, your camera uploads video to the cloud, which is then processed to see if motion occurred in the Cloud Activity Zones you set up. Even if you don't have many recordings in your library, your camera's battery may deplete faster than usual when it's running on battery power.

To set up activity zones:

Log in to your Arlo account at my.arlo.com or open the Arlo app.
Settings > My Devices (tap or click).
Select the camera for which you want to create an activity zone by tapping or clicking it.
Tap Zones of Activity.
If you're using a web browser, go to Video Settings.
To make a new zone, tap the Plus icon.
Click Create New Zone if you are using a web browser.

It's worth noting that activity zones are usually rectangular.

Slide the chosen zone to the left and tap Delete on the Arlo app to delete it.
Drag the corners of the zone to resize it.
